The latest Retro Computer Games Festival will be taking place on Sat 16th October, starting at 2pm and running through till the end of the day. It will be held once again at the Garden Gate pub in Aldershot. We will have over 20 computers, consoles and handhelds for people to play on during the day. There will be a couple of competitions run through the day. A Knock-out competition and a High Score Challenge. There will be computers and consoles in the main bar area and back room, and handhelds in the covered patio area. They may even be an arcade cabinet or two but that is yet to be confirmed.

The Garden Gate has a good selection of ales and is featured in the current Good Beer Guide. They've recently stopped doing food but have agreed to provide food on the day for us between 1pm - 3pm and 6pm - 8pm. It will be a reduced menu from what was previously offered and will probably be a selection of burgers and baked potatoes. There is free parking available in the car park next door to the pub.
